By creating a Volta account or connecting a third-party service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use Volta.
Volta is an athletic identity app. It uses your running history and music listening to build a picture of who you are as a runner — surfacing your archetype, your signature tracks, and the patterns that define how you move.
Running data is sourced from Apple Health. Music listening data is sourced from Apple Music directly and, optionally, from Last.fm — which aggregates listening history from connected services including Spotify, Tidal, and others.
Volta is not affiliated with Apple Inc., Last.fm, Spotify, or any other third-party service it connects to.
Volta integrates with the following services. Your use of each remains governed by their own terms and privacy policies.
Apple Health & Apple Music — Provides workout data and native music listening via HealthKit and MusicKit.

Last.fm — Provides scrobbled listening history from connected streaming services (including Spotify, Tidal, and others) when you choose to connect your Last.fm account.

If any connected service is unavailable, Volta features that depend on it may not function. Last.fm connectivity is optional. Apple Health is recommended — without it Volta can’t import runs from your watch or other running apps, though you can still record runs directly in Volta.

You may disconnect any service or delete your account at any time. We may suspend accounts that violate these Terms or the platform policies of our integration partners.
Volta is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. Archetypes, pace insights, and listening patterns are interpretive — they reflect your running identity as Volta understands it, and should not be used for medical, training, or safety-critical decisions.
We may update these Terms. Material changes will be announced in the app at least 14 days before they take effect.
